The leagues held to continuously perform plan no. 50/KH-CDTCT dated on March 18, 2019, of the Union of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation and create an exhilarating atmosphere and competitiveness among union members, workers, officers, and employees, encouraging them to get achievements and celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union’s founding day (from July 28, 1929, to July 28, 2019), and the 50th commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament performance (from 1969 to 2019) also.
On June 19, 2019, at the stadium of Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace, football matches of the units of Ho Chi Minh City took place, the contestants included the Corporation representative office team, Binh Dong Flour Mill Company, Vinabotmi – Binh An Flour Company, Colusa – Miliket Foodstuff Joint Stock Company, Safoco Foodstuff Joint Stock Company, and Ho Chi Minh City Food Joint Stock Company.
Attending the ceremonial opening of the event was Mr. Bien Van Sau, Executive Committee Member of Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development Union, Mr. Le Minh Truong, President of Trade Union, Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Chau, Vice President of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation Trade Union; presenting with the representatives of subsidiary companies such as Presidents, Directors, Deputy Directors of companies, and Presidents of grassroots trade unions; especially the event had the participation of more than 70 athletes from 06 groups, and lots of fans came to encourage and join themselves in the exciting atmosphere.
The first day of the competitions passed with memorable moments and enthusiastic competition, and the final results of the matches ranked as follows:
– The first prize was Safoco Foodstuff Joint Stock Company.
– The second prize was Colusa – Miliket Foodstuff Joint Stock Company.
– The third prize was Binh Dong Flour Mill Company.
The Final Round of Mini Football Leagues 2019 – Vietnam Southern Food Corporation is expected to hold on June 29, 2019, with the contestants being the top 9 teams from 03 groups to compete in this final round of the championship.
