On the morning of August 12, 2022, Southern Food Corporation opened an aquatic feed processing factory in Cai Be district’s industrial cluster. The processing plant is located in a convenient location for the import and export of goods both by road and by waterway. With modern machinery and equipment, the aqua feed processing factory is expected to support the Corporation to develop significantly in the field of aqua feed production in the next stages.
Aquatic feed processing factory has been in operation since February 2012 with a total area of 24,048m2, including:
– Raw material warehouses have an area of 17,280m2 (including 03 warehouses with an aperture of 48m, 9m high next to each other) with a total capacity of 35,000 tons of materials.
– Finished product warehouse has an area of 5,040m2 (aperture 60m high 7.5m), a total capacity of 5,400 tons of finished fuel.
– Machine tower area has an area of 864m2 with a height of 32.4m, invested in arranging production lines with 04 lines (02 lines of 4 tons of finished products/hour and 02 lines of 9 tons of finished products/hour) with a production capacity of 120,000 tons/year, the line is installed with mainly imported equipment.
– The boiler house has an area of 864m2, 5.8m high with a capacity of 18 tons of steam/hour.
At the beginning of 2016, due to a change in management structure, the factory was temporarily shut down and put into maintenance mode. By the beginning of 2022, with the attention of the Board of Directors, the Board of General Directors and the enthusiastic support of the functional departments, Southern Food Corporation and Tien Giang Agricultural Products Company cooperated, processed aqua feed with BIOGREEN Joint Venture Co., Ltd., cooperated to repair the aqua feed factory to start official operation from the beginning of August 2022.
This is a particularly important event, marking the special attention of the Corporation’s Board of Directors and local agencies. Southern Food Corporation sincerely thanks the Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee – People’s Committee of Tien Giang Province; Leaders of District Party Committee – People’s Committee of Cai Be District; Leaders of Hoa Hung Commune and local departments have helped and supported the aqua feed processing factory to return to operation.
