On the morning of October 28, 2022, at the headquarters of Vinafood II, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement on digital transformation between Vietnam Southern Food Corporation (Vinafood II) and Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation took place.
Attending the cooperation signing ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh – Deputy Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises, Leaders of departments, offices of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises and the Management of Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation.
Representatives of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation were Mr. Nguyen Huy Hung – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Tran Tan Duc – Acting General Director, andmembers of the Board of Directors, Board of General Directors, leaders of the Boards and Directors of affiliated units. From MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, there were Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien – Chairman of the Members’ Council, Mr. To Manh Cuong – General Director of the Corporation, members of the Members’ Council, Board of General Directors and leaders of related units.
According to the signed agreement, MobiFone supports, consults, develops and implements policies, programs and plans to develop and implement Vinafood II’s digital transformation strategy. At the same time, MobiFone will cooperate in implementing digital transformation in the fields of Digital Infrastructure, Digital Solutions and Digital Services of VinaFood II.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huy Hung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinafood II said: “This is a digital transformation program to perform the tasks of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises, which is a compulsory requirement and must comply with the guidelines and direction of the Prime Minister (at the Decision No. 749/QD-TTg dated June 3, 2020). The digital transformation is an inevitable and objective trend that will take place in all aspects of life and on a global scale, so Vinafood II determines that digital transformation is very important, which s is both a task, but also a solution to improve the operational efficiency of enterprises; strengthen the connection with businesses in all aspects to meet the requirements of administration, operation and acceleration of the work process, improve the quality of monitoring information in the fields of agriculture, food production and processing, application of digital technology to automate production and business processes; managing and monitoring the origin and supply chain of products, ensuring quickness, transparency, accuracy, safety, and food hygiene.”
“Vinafood II has developed a program and plan for Digital Transformation linking the goals and tasks of Digital Transformation with the objectives and tasks of production business of the Corporation, along with solutions and roadmap for implementing Digital Transformation in Vinafood II to 2025, orientation to 2030”.
On MobiFone’s side, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien emphasized: “MobiFone committed to accompanying Vinafood II in digital transformation, from formulating a digital transformation strategy to an annual implementation plan, implementing initiatives on digital transformation in the fields of customer, production management, financial and accounting management, technology, data and corporate culture with MobiFone’s available digital transformation solutions as well as implementing separately for Vinafood II. MobiFone is also committed to devoting the best resources and the most elite team to digital transformation at Vinafood II Corporation as well as Vinafood II’s member units.
Witnessing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises highly appreciated and welcomed the cooperation between VinaFood II and MobiFone. Affirming the signing of this cooperation agreement is very meaningful and an important event between businesses under the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh hoped that “After this signing, Vinafood II and MobiFone will continue to think of many new products to cooperate with each other, accumulate experience to continue to multiply cooperation with other enterprises. The Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises will always accompany the two businesses, research and provide further suggestions to both enterprises in their strategy.”
Sending congratulations and wishes for success in the field of signing to Vinafood II and MobiFone and, the Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises hopes that “In the next 2-3 years, when the annual review, especially to 2025, summarize the 5 years of the term, each unit will have steps up, breakthrough and surpass themselves, actively participating in the success of the State Board of Management as well as contributing to the national economy.
Signing the Cooperation Agreement is to promote the strengths in the fields of operation of each party, Vinafood II and MobiFone commit to strengthen cooperation, support, and work together towards long-term and sustainable development. At the same time, through cooperation, Vinafood II and MobiFone jointly exploit optimally the strengths and potentials of each party.
This cooperation will be an opportunity for both of them to take advantage and promote their strengths in the fields of operations, promote customer development as well as open up new opportunities and potentials. The two sides will stand together on the path of digital transformation, aiming to bring local people and customers convenient and practical services.
