The leagues held to continuously implement plan no. 50/KH-CDTCT dated March 18, 2019, of the Trade Union of Vietnam Southern Food Corporation and create an exhilarating spirit and competitiveness among trade union members, workers, officers, and employees, encouraging them to get achievements and celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union’s founding day (from July 28, 1929, to July 28, 2019), and the 50th commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament performance (from 1969 to 2019) also. Moreover, Vietnam Southern Food Corporation also aims at promoting and enhancing the quality of the trade union activities, maintaining and developing the diversity of the sports events in the Corporation, and effectively contributing to accomplishing the delegated responsibilities. The 2019 Mini Football Matches included 20 teams from Vietnam Southern Food Corporation subsidiaries divided into 03 groups of qualifying rounds and then decided 09 teams to compete in the final round of the championship.
On June 15, 2019, the mini football tournament 2019 – Song Tien cluster took place with the participation of the corporation units, namely Long An Food Company, Ben Tre Food Company, Tien Giang Food Company, Tra Vinh Food Company, Vinh Long Food Company, and Mecofood – Mechanics Construction and Foodstuff Joint-Stock Company; there were 10 matches including 02 rounds: Group stage and Group ranking round.
The scores of the Song Tien Group were recorded as follows:
– The first prize was Tra Vinh Food Company.
– The second prize was Tien Giang Food Company.
– The third prize was Mecofood – Mechanics Construction and Foodstuff Joint-Stock Company.
The Group Ranking Round will be planned as per the below schedule:
– On June 19, 2019 – Ho Chi Minh City Cluster’s contestant teams are The corporation representative office, Binh Dong Flour Mill Company, Vinabotmi – Binh An Flour Company, Colusa – Miliket Foodstuff Joint Stock Company, Safoco Foodstuff Joint Stock Company, and Ho Chi Minh City Food Joint Stock Company (divided into 02 qualifying groups to enter the ranking round).
– On June 22, 2019 – the Song Hau cluster’s participating teams are To Chau Joint Stock Company, Kien Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company, An Giang Food and Foodstuff Company, Bac Lieu Food Company, Dong Thap Food Company, Company Song Hau Food Company, Binh Dinh Food Joint Stock Company, and Thot Not Branch (draw for the knockout phase to get the ranking round entering ticket).
The Final Round of Mini Football Leagues 2019 – Vietnam Southern Food Corporation is expected to occur on June 29, 2019, with the competitors being the top 9 teams from 03 groups to compete in this final round of the championship.
